The center leads in studying environmental contamination within SERC from detection and identification to impacts and visualization.

Florida Coastal Everglades Long Term Ecological Research (FCE-LTER)

FCE-LTER focuses on researching freshwater and estuarine vegetation while examining how hydrology, climate, and human activities affect ecosystem and population dynamics.

Water Quality Monitoring Network

The network has surveyed The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and the Southwest Florida Shelf, among other areas in South Florida to address regional water quality concerns.
